After leaving Eyota, we continued our hunt for the prized 487. We were just outside of Dover when we heard the unmistakable sound of an EMD 645 prime mover working up grade. We did a quick U turn and I was able to fire off this shot as the three SD40-2s roared up hill. The Waseca Sub has some excellent spots to shoot things from! |

Train 487 continues its way to Waseca as its seen roaring through the small town of Kasson after catching it near Bryon. This shot was taken with my trusty Nikon Fe from 1978 using 200 speed film at 1/250th of a second. |
